| It was a
nice surprise to find this picture amongst my father's slides as my
wife and I visited the city in February 2000 and I took a
similar picture but from the other side of Eastgate! The
obvious difference is the inevitable pedestrianisation of the
area. I also recall seeing the Grosvenor Hotel and
thinking how posh it looked. Not surprising as it is a five star
hotel... |
